Project 1101: Christian Community School Project
Brotherly Love & Fellowship School System is a school located in the Christian community of Monrovia, Liberia. The school employs 14 teaching staff and provides education to over 300 students and counting. This school is privately funded with no government assistance. Expansion of the school has already begun but is a slow process. They work on the school as they obtain the funds which can span over several years.
Due to funding issues, many students are unable to attend school. The burden of school tuition is placed on the child’s family. Many of these families cannot afford to send their children to school. Many children quit school and get jobs to obtain extra income for their families. If the burden of tuition were lifted from the family, many of these students would be able to attend school.
Field Empowerment Foundation seeks to provide the necessary funds to pay for student tuitions, purchase school supplies, and increase teaching salaries to a livable wage. In addition, Field Empowerment Foundation desires to provide the funding needed to complete the construction of the school’s expansion.

Project 2202: Gizigboaga Community Well
Imagine waking up every day and having no access to clean water. People in the Gizigboaga Community face this daily.
The community consists of roughly 1,500 people. These people travel into the forest on foot to collect water for use in their homes. They use this water for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing clothes, and basic hygiene. They collect water from pools of groundwater consisting of runoff from surrounding areas. It is often contaminated by animal feces and multiple other sources of bacteria encountered on the way to the pool. The pools of water are constantly being stirred up with the dirt on the bottom every time someone steps foot inside it to scoop out the water.
Field Empowerment Foundation seeks to provide a safe water well to the community. This will allow the residents of the community access to safe drinking water for daily living. We seek to provide the handpump and fund the construction of the well in its entirety. The well will then be handed over to the community. They will learn proper maintenance and be given full responsibility to maintain the well. It is important that the well is signed over to the community and they have full ownership. The well will not be owned by the government. Field Empowerment Foundation desires to improve the lives of the Gizigboaga Community by making this well easily accessible to all residents for daily use.
Safe water Well for the Residents:
Field Empowerment Foundation wishes to provide this community with a one-time safe water well.
The estimation of cost to provide a well to this community is $3,170.00.
